Most people become managers in a company after pursuing an MBA. And when someone got a gold medal from an institute like IIM Ahmedabad, it was very easy for him to become the CEO of a company. After doing MBA from top management institutes of the country like IIMs, youngsters dream of getting a good salary job in a big company. But there are some youths who instead of walking the built path, make their own path and reach the pinnacle of success.
Why did vegetables become so expensive coming from the farm to your colony, this question also arose in the mind of the young man Kaushalendra, who topped in IIM Ahmedabad. After pursuing his MBA, he chose to work in the interest of the country instead of finding a die-drinking job.

Kaushalya Foundation
Even after earning the gold medal in MBA, he founded ‘Kaushalya Foundation’ instead of becoming a manager or CEO in a company. That’s the reason he became a role model for millions of people. Not only he create a company worth crores of rupees but also benefited more than 22 thousand farmers.

After completing his studies, he returned to Patna in 2007 instead of taking up a job. He founded the Kaushalya Foundation along with his brother. Through this foundation, he helped to increase coordination between farmers and vendors to create an organized vegetable business. The initial days were difficult due to lack of funds.
People Made Fun
Even after topping IIM Ahmedabad, people made fun of him while he was unemployed. But Kaushalendra did not lose his courage. He started the Samriddhi Yojana and was also a hit. Currently, more than 22,000 farmers are involved in their mission under the Kaushalya Foundation and they have about 700 employees.
He had opened a vegetable shop and the sales of the first day was only 22 rupees but in 2016-17 the turnover of his company was 5 crores rupees. And most importantly, his company is helping about 22,000 farmers and has become a medium of goodness for them.
Business Model
Kaushalendra is trying to add vegetable products to the retail supply chain model among vegetable farmers and vendors scattered all over Bihar. Employees associated with the project collect vegetables from farmers and deliver them to vendors. Farmers are given all possible help and advice related to farming. Kaushalendra wants to create a firm where vegetable farmers can change the nature of the market, they can do same as retail so that it is also capable of bargaining.
