Beautiful artworks of Lord Krishna made by a Muslim woman living in Kerala are being discussed everywhere from social media today. Jasna Salim makes very beautiful paintings of Lord Krishna and these paintings made by her are also highly appreciated by the people.
Significantly, a special painting made by 28-year-old Jasna Salim, a resident of Kozhikode, Kerala, has also been given a place in the temple. The painting of Lord Krishna made by Jasna is currently installed in the Sri Krishna Swamy temple located at Ulanadu in Pathanamthitta district.
The family members used to call ‘Kanha’
While talking to the media, Jasna has told that people at home used to address her as Kanha in her childhood and this is the reason why she keeps on creating his paintings keeping interest in Lord Krishna. According to Jasna, during that time she did not know who Kanha was but after marriage her husband told her about Lord Krishna.
During this, Jasna’s husband took her to his friends’ house where he showed her pictures of Lord Krishna. Jasna was very impressed seeing those pictures. It was from here that Jasna’s interest shifted towards making paintings of Lord Krishna.
Made more than 500 paintings
Jasna has been producing Lord Krishna’s paintings for the last 6 years and during this time she has produced more than 500 paintings of Lord Krishna. Significantly, Jasna, who has produced special paintings of Lord Krishna, has not taken any special training.
