Talking to the media, Amritbir has told that he always wanted to be fit and for this he started working on it from the age of 15. Amritbir started exercising at his home in Batala, Punjab, where initially he used to workout for 3 to 4 hours every day.

Though being fit was not enough for Amritbir, he wanted to make a record in it too. For this, Amritbir chose pushups. During that time Amritbir had not told anything to his family and started focusing on preparing to break the record. Amritbir had made this record by doing 118 duplicate pushups in one minute.

Even after this, Amritbir did not calm down, but he made another record in his name. This time Amritbir had made a new record by doing 35 Superman pushups in just 30 seconds.
