Aji Anand, who did this, is a resident of Kannur district of Kerala. According to Aji, during the lockdown, he and his wife wanted to build a house on their ancestral land, although their attention was also focused on the fact that the cost of the house should not be high and this house going to be built should also be eco-friendly.
House built in 6 months
Aji runs a clothing store, while his wife is the vice-principal of an educational institution. It was always Aji’s dream that he would one day build a house for himself, whereas before that Aji lived in his joint family.
Aji took the help of his family and friends to build his house. The area of the land on which the house has been built is about 1 thousand square feet. It took 6 months to build the house, whereas in terms of cost, only 6 lakh rupees have been spent in this construction.
Beer bottle and clay house
The major materials for building the house included plastic bags, beer bottles, clay and bamboo wood. During the construction of the house, Aji had to take the help of two laborers to lift the heavy goods. It is worth noting that Aji has used more than 2500 beer bottles in the construction of the house.
