Shashwat Nagrani is one of the founders of BharatPe, a reputed payment service company. Shashvat Nagrani started BharatPe with Ashneer Grover while studying at IIT.
When the two meet at an event they come up with an idea for this payment service and start discussing it. When they started BharatPe, other payment service providers were already the leading companies in India. However, they have attracted the attention of customers with their unique service.
Their plus is that BharatPe does not charge service charges, especially to small companies or shopkeepers. This set them apart from other companies. BharatPe also offers facilities such as credit facilities to retail companies. Such services have also increased the number of customers and seen tremendous growth in the last few years.
BharatPe was started as a start-up company and achieved unicorn status. This breathtaking growth is due to the increase in the value of Shashvat Nagrani’s property, and now he has joined India’s rich list.
